Denise Gipson, CFNP

Denise has been a nurse for over nine years, ultimately completing her master's degree as a family nurse practitioner in 2007.  She earned her associate's degree from Hinds Community College, and her bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing.  Most of her years as a nurse were spent in the pediatric emergency department but she also worked with pediatric urology and ICU.  She worked at the Baptist Medical Center in radiology, performing conscious sedation for interventional procedures and biopsies.Denise has done medical mission work, primarily in Nicaragua, her father's native country.  She is fluent in Spanish and loves anything having to do with that culture.  Her main objective when she graduated was to work with others who were passionate about what they were doing, worked well together, and were experts in their fields.  Denise says that she is delighted to be working with The Face & Skin Center, where all those objectives have been met.  She is happy to have joined the team and is looking forward to contributing to a successful, growing practice and filling a need for the community.
